How to remove Mirar Toolbar?

I share a computer with my sisters, and they all go to who-knows-what websites. Apparently Mirar toolbar installed itself, and I've heard that it has spyware.

It has no uninstall program and is not listed in Add/Remove Programs, and all the spyware I can find on the internet costs money, or the free version finds but DOES NOT REMOVE the program. I saw on one site that editing your system registry can help, but that you run a risk of completely destroying your computer. How can I remove Mirar for free without risking the destruction of my computer?
